The program’s success enabled Lake Shore Electric to secure inventory purchase production slots with sub-suppliers for critical components like circuit breakers, meters, control components, steel, and copper, ensuring stable pricing and consistent on-time delivery. To mitigate breaker supply chain constraints, two designs were created—one based on ABB breakers and another on Eaton breakers—avoiding potential disruptions. The result was a streamlined solution with two stock codes covering hundreds of installations, achieving 100% on-time delivery and maintaining a robust inventory of completed units.
